I am trying to configure for random articles. I have 15 in the category and I want 1 to display one at a time and to randomly change out. I have the following settings in the module: include article as yes, no. of articles 1, article type is random, select an article is picking one of the articles in the category, the category for the articles is selected, access is public. Right now I don't have the section of the articles selected, but I have tried it with and without with the same result.

The articles do switch out randomly but how do I fix the error messages?

Please try the following and give a feedback :-
1) Could you try this in a remote hosting environment and check ? I just want to find out if there is some config issue on your local machine. Joomla! is known to work best with PHP 5.2 on local machine.

2) Could you edit line 123 in the file mod_prettymodules15.php and change id to 'id' and revert ?

This is actually a notice and not an error, and can also be turned off by editing php.ini and changing to
