HELP Please 2 Years, 2 Months ago
Hi,

I have just purchased this software. I have created a module which looks good. However it is within the default template module, showing the heading ,and a border around my new Pretty module, which I do not want. How do I get rid of this default module.

Add some dummy text under 'Module Class Suffix' - it should be at the top of Pretty Modules backend; that should get rid of the default template class provided your template supports class suffixes

but the default custom module is still theirI hope you mean 'default custom module style', otherwise I'm not understanding you correctly.

If you're adding the suffix without a leading space (that's how you should do) it could be that your template does not have support for adding class suffixes. Is it an Artisteer template ? I am aware that those do not support class suffixes at present. But there is a work around - you can add art-nostyle as suffix.

To check, you can change your template to milykway or any other default template which is packaged alongwith Joomla!, and then apply the module class suffix. Unless that class is defined in your template CSS, all template style should go away on adding a class suffix.
