Changing Artisteer Module header background 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Changed art-blockheader
.art-blockheader .t
{
height: 34px;
color: #EDE5D9;
margin-right: 10px;
margin-left: 10px;
font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif;
font-size: 14px;
text-decoration: none;
margin:0;
padding: 0 46px 0 10px;
white-space: nowrap;
line-height: 34px;
}

.art-blockheader .l, .art-newsblockheader .r
{
display: block;
position: absolute;
z-index: -1;
height: 34px;
background-image: url('../images/newsblockheader.png');
}

Hoping to get the newsblockheader.png in the background of one module.
Any clues?

There are some limitations in using class suffixes in artisteer template. Last when I had looked into their code a month ago, templates did not support external class suffixes (there are 4 predefined class suffixes which are supported).

If you are already aware of this and have modified the template accordingly, please post a settings snapshot; a url would be best. You can use the contact form if you do not wish to make your site public.

I assumne from this post that artisteer templates are at best difficult to use with this product. Any clues on how this might be achieved? i also assume that this posts original writer has somewhat achieved this would they like to share how they did this. By the way I am new to template modification but am happy to learn.

Here's what I replied This is the thread which has some workarounds mentioned www.artisteer.com/?responsesPage=1&p...post&forum_id=20 .

One of the users of ECS has reported that in the second page (www.artisteer.com/?responsesPage=2&p...post&forum_id=20) there is a post by tekfix which worked. Apart from what is mentioned in that post, you will need to add a suffix to ALL the modules if you follow that method - you can add the inbuilt suffixes (www.artisteer.com/?p=help_joomla#joomla5) or any other.
dougall hasn't reverted; I hope it it worked.

Just wanted to update that as per their website, Artisteer 3 allows adding custom class suffixes, thereby now extending the use of Easy Class Suffixes to Artisteer Generated Templates.
